Just a little beach cache

Here in Eastern Tennessee the schools have something called Fall Break. I don't remember every having a week off of classes in the fall, but then, we didn't start school in the beginning of August. Well, since my son was out of school we planned a little roadtrip to the nearest beach destination, Charleston, South Carolina. Geocaching played hardly a role in this trip, but we ended up staying on Folly Beach and there just so happened to be a really nice Puzzle Cache close to our rental house, GC2MK1K. The puzzle was easy, but also very educational about this historic lighthouse that is starting to lean over on its foundation and is no longer active. A local organization saved it from being demolished by the Coast Guard, and it is considered an important landmark for the state. The cache was a nice beach run to a spot where you could look out on the lighthouse. How perfect, to ahve such a great cache right where we were visiting. Caches like this one are what keep this game awesome.
